Personal Development Planner for the New Year

Personal Development Planner for the New Year

Let the Holiday Season Commence!

It’s officially December 1st! The countdown to Christmas and the new year has finally begun (for me, anyway; some people have already started)! Along with the countdown to the peak of the holiday season comes the age-old question: what are my goals for the new year? What do I want to accomplish in 2017?

One of my main goals for next year is to be more organized. My life is pretty chaotic; I have all kinds of different appointments I have to go to and dates to remember. I am forever forgetting appointments until the last minute, so I have to rush to get ready and leave. I also want to get on a more consistent blog post schedule.

My other main goal for 2017 is to start thinking more positively. I have the tendency to get ‘down’ sometimes and be harder on myself than I should be. I want to become more self-confident and pay more attention to the silver linings on what may initially seem like permanent storm clouds.

For the past month, I’ve been trying to think of ways to achieve both of these goals. Fortunately, I’ve finally found a way to combine them! I made myself a motivational planner for 2017, and I’ve decided to share it with everyone. It has monthly calendars with holidays already marked (because I’m awful at remembering most holidays). I also included two weeks worth of weekly planners (I plan on printing two weeks at a time), which have two categories, which I left blank for now. For my own, I’m going to make one category ‘Blog’, so I can keep track of posts and other things I need to do with it. The other is probably just going to be a general ‘Life’ category, with other appointments and tasks I need to accomplish.

I also included a monthly personal development prompt to help achieve my second goal. Some of them involve making a list to look back on when I need it; others ask specific questions and concrete ways to do things. In addition, each monthly and weekly calendar has motivational quotes and definitions on them to inspire me to get things done!

All in all, I think I’m pretty prepared to achieve my two main New Year’s Resolutions, thanks to my planner. Because I know I’m not the only person who has goals like these (whether they’re New Year’s Resolutions or not), I’m sharing my Personal Development Planner with everyone! I made two different themes (blue and pink), but everything else is the same.

You can get the complete planner, with the monthly and weekly calendars and the personal development questions, or you can get the weekly calendars separately. They’re FREE until December 15th! Just head on over to my shop to pick them up. Please leave a comment here letting me know what you think; I’d love to hear from you!
